I wanted to go over everything I have learned through “The Niche Blogger” so far to give you an idea of what you can accomplish and what you can expect to learn when you join. If you do not know what “The Niche Blogger” is, read my previous post here! Overall I have learned so much about blogging, I have made a monthly income, just doing something I already loved to do.
Month 1
The first month of “The Niche Blogger” is very newbie friendly, honestly the entire course is, however this month is more designed for people who have little to no experience blogging. Amy teaches you how to buy a domain name, sign up for web hosting, navigating your Cpanel, how to choose a great niche, effective keyword research and how to select keywords, what sub-domains are, how to install wordpress and how to set up every section of wordpress so it is completely optimized. She also teaches you about important wordpress plugins, how to write and schedule blog posts, rewrite articles, outrank your competition and keep your readers coming back.
Month 2
The second month is all about affiliates and monetizing your blog. Amy shows you several affiliate programs you can sign up for to monetize your blog. She teaches you how to track your different sources of income, how to rank high in google, social bookmarking, how to set up an RSS feed, how to gain automatic back links, how to market articles and the steps to writing an article people love, how to rank high on ezine articles and how to establish yourself in your niche.
Month 3
The 3rd month is target toward promoting your blog. Amy shows you how to market your RSS Feed, how to create widgets, make an effective Squidoo page, create a video blog, how to make videos and market them for lots of traffic, and loads of other ways to market your blog. A lot of the things she shows I never even thought of.
Month 4
The fourth month shows you how to set up opt in lists that will bring in a lot of money. I never realized how much money you can really earn from lists. Although it can be overwhelming, especially if you have no clue what you are doing, Amy makes it incredibly easy and not stressful at all. She shows you how to make your list successful and also gives you 10 templates for writing your autoresponder e-mails.
Month 5
The fifth month Amy goes over how to create your own ebook to sell on your blog. Ebooks bring in a lot of money, especially when it is not the same ebook you can find on hundreds of websites. Having an original Ebook on your blog means 100% of the profits are yours. She also teaches you how to put your ebook on Clickbank so affiliates will sell your Ebook on their websites. This gives you a wider range of customers!
Month 6
This sixth month covers Click Per Action ads and how to determine which ones are going to be successful and which one you should stay away from. She also shows you how to target customers to these ads so you will have guaranteed clickthroughs and sign ups!
Month 7
This month has been my favorite so far and has inspired me to start selling blogs. Amy teaches you everything you need to know about selling your blogs off, where to go, how to get the blog ready, how to create your listings and how to get the highest amount of money. People will pay hundreds to thousands of dollars for blogs that are established because they do not want to put in all of the gruelling work of starting a blog!
I will update this at the end of every month to give you an idea what I have learned. If you are interested in joining “The Niche Blogger” you can click the banner below for more information. Also you can sign up for a Free 3 Day Trial HERE!
Also if you do decided to join, you will notice 2 different options for payment.
Monthly:
If you do not have a lot of money right now, this would be a good option, you will receive access to each month’s lesson’s on a monthly basis. This is how I currently am signed up, but honestly I think I will be switching to a lifetime membership soon because it is more convenient. This option costs $19.95 a month
Lifetime Membership:
I would recommend this option if you can afford it. This costs a total of $197 (you have the option to pay it in 2 payments) however you receive all of the information as soon as it’s available. So if you are just joining and you pick the monthly option, you will receive a lesson each month. Right now their are 7 months available, so it would take you 7 months to get to that point. By choosing a lifetime membership, you get every month now. This is great for quick learners, I always find my self doing a whole month’s worth of lessons in about two weeks.
The Niche Blogger Review

What is Niche blogging?
Niche blogging is taking a very specific subject and creating a blog about it, which you continue to post to consistently. When I say something specific, an example I would use is “cookie recipes” as opposed to “baking recipes”. A blog based purely on cookie recipes could possibly be a decent niche because of how specific it is.
Why did you join The Niche Blogger?
I have been trying to find decent information and step by step guides about niche blogging for awhile now, but any free information just wasn’t specific enough for me. I needed someone to show me step by step how to set up a blog and how to market it, how to gain traffic, back links, authority and eventually earn money with it. I am experienced with computers and writing but when it came to marketing a blog, I was confused. Every website I came across was full of information that was useless to me.
Then I found The Niche Blogger. I have been following Amy Bass for a long time through her personal finance blog where she has managed to pay off all of her debt ($72,900)! I really enjoyed reading her blog and she had managed to pay off a majority of that all through finding ways to earn money online! That is amazing to me! Amy is a stay at home mother of four and an incredibly hard worker! So when she decided to start a new project called The Niche Blogger, I immediately signed up knowing it wasn’t going to be a waste of my money!
What is The Niche Blogger?
Amy has made a majority of her money through building Niche Blogs. She has created her own Niche Blogging Empire from scratch. The Niche Blogger is a subscription blog with step by step guides showing you how to set up your first blog, how to do keyword research, how to write successful blog posts, how to market your blog, how to gain traffic and back links, how to gain authority, how to write articles and market them and so much more. She posts every single day, with screenshots and videos showing you how to complete each lesson. For all of the constant information she is publishing and the return on my money I am seeing, she is severely undercharging.
The Niche Blogger first month is geared more towards newbies, as she created each lesson to be simple for someone who has little computer experience, but the best thing is, if you already have a niche blog, I guarantee you she will show you tons of methods to improve it, that you probably have never even thought of.
There are hundreds of subscribers to The Niche Blogger so far and we have all become a family. The best thing is everyone is willing to help everyone. Amy always answers any questions you have quickly. I was more of a newbie when I began, I knew how to work wordpress to my advantage, I just didn’t know how to get traffic. I have improved my blogs by 110% and every single one of them is gaining traffic, authority and earning a decent amount of money.
What you should know about Niche Blogging!
It is not a get rich quick scheme! You actually have to work for your money! If you are a motivated person, who enjoys blogging or writing you will absolutely love The Niche Blogger. Even if you have little to no blogging experience…it does not matter! Everyone has a passion in life and Amy will show you how to create that passion into a passive income. With her blog, the lessons are so easy I honestly believe you could stick a child who has some computer experience in front of it, maybe a child in middle school, and they could create their own profitable niche blog!
Another thing is you can’t give up easy. The money will be a little slow during the first month and possibly the second. For me on my very first blog I was incredibly motivated and worked really hard and I started to see a little income at the end of my second month and then a huge burst midway through my third month. Sometimes blogs need time to age and gain authority before they start earning a decent amount!
You honestly will not see many reviews on this website for products you have to pay for, just because about 95% of them are scams, at least the ones that promise you riches overnight, which as you have noticed, Amy’s does not promise that. As you can see though she has been creating Niche Blogs for about 9 months I believe now and is bringing in about $5,000 a month, it did take her a lot of time and hard work, and a few months of little measly amounts, but in the end all of her hard work really paid off for her.
I am nowhere near that amount of income, I am just starting to bring in a few hundred a month on average and I am beginning half way through my fourth month, but considering that amount is at least 10 times what I pay for my monthly subscription, I have absolutely no complaints! I can’t wait to see what it will be like a year from now!
Update (7/2/09) : Somewhere around the eighth month of the Niche Blogger, Amy began to cover how to sell blogs and flip blogs. For me it was exactly what I wanted to do. I absolutely love designing blogs! Granted if you sell a blog for $200, it is almost guarenteed, with a little work, the person who buys it is going to make their money back plus a lot more over time, and building blogs may not be entirely passive, however with everything Amy has showed me I am happy to say I am now making almost the same amount from home, that I make at my day job! Becoming a member of The Niche Blogger was the best thing I have ever done. I urge you to visit her site and download her free information she provides. Then try out the Free 3 Day Trial of The Niche Blogger, if you are serious about making money online and don’t no where to start, this membership site is the key to unlocking the door for you!
Income Screenshots: Here is a screenshot of my paypal account from the last couple months to show you it is possible to earn a lot of money using Amy’s techniques. All of the money shown in these screenshots was earned through using techniques Amy teaches. I have actually earned more than this as well since some of my affiliates deposit into my personal checking account too!

Niche blogging is taking a general topic and narrowing it down and creating a blog on a very specific topic or “niche”. For example “Baking Recipes” is a very general topic with a lot of searches and competition monthly. However “homemade cookie recipes” is a very specific niche. Having a blog dedicated to a topic so specific means you will have a small targeted audience which is only looking for one thing. In addition you will have less competition with niche blogs, being so specific means your website will be able to corner the market by offering visitors everything they want to know about that niche.
By researching appropriate keywords, SEO and finding relevant affiliates for your niche you can make a decent income from just one niche blog. I have numerous personal niche blogs for myself and I just recently started making blogs for the public. Niche blogs earn money off of affiliates on your blog. Companies will pay you to advertise for them on your blog and in return you receive a commission. Niche Bloggers don’t necessairily make money off just one blog, although it isn’t unheard of. Typically niche bloggers create a portfolio of blogs anywhere from 10 to hundreds. Imagine if you had a blog that made an average of $80 a month from niche blogging. It may not pay the bills but it’s a nice extra income for how low maintenance the cost is of managing a blog. Imagine if you had 20 blogs that made an average of $80 a month? That is $1600 a month!?!
If you are interested in starting your own niche blog empire from scratch, I would recommend joining The Niche Blogger, a subscription blog that includes daily tutorials, step by step guides, screenshots and videos that will teach you everything you need to become successful about niche blogging.
