From your Dashboard Choose “Media”
Then select “Add New”. Once there choose “Select Files” to browse your hard drive for the image you would like to use. You will want to choose and image that is relatively small as large images do not work well.
Next choose “Library” located underneath “Media”. You will see your image uploaded in the library. Right Click on the image. Choose the option to “Copy image location”
Go back to the post you were working on. Scroll Down to Custom Fields. Click Enter New. View this image to see which custom field you need to enter. Then paste the image link you copied into the value box. Select “Add Custom Field” then save your post! Now when you look on the front page your image will be next to the article!

How to change which Categories appear on your blog homepage.

This tutorial is to show you how to change the above categories (Click to Enlarge) if you have multiple categories you want to use. This blog only has 4 categories which you will notice in the sidebar. (About Detox Diet, Detox Diet Plans, Detox Diet Products and Tips and Recommendations) Lets say you wanted to replace the category on your homepage “About Detox Diet” to “Detox Diet Products” . Here are the steps you would take.
1. From you WP Dashboard select “Posts” a drop down will appear underneath it and you will select “Categories“
2. Select the category you want to appear on your homepage. In this case we would select ”Detox Diet Products”
3. You will be looking for the Category ID which will appear in your browser address bar. For “Detox Diet Products” ours is 24. Write this down on a piece of paper, you will need it later.
4. Go back to your WP Dashboard and Select “Appearance” the when the menu drops down select “Editor”
5. Then on your far right you will click on “home.php“
6. Scroll down until you see the code below. The screenshot below shows you how to change the category name, The category number, how many posts you want to show and how to save.
7. If you scroll down further on home.php you will see identical coding for both the right category column and bottom category column. You can change these as well by following the same instructions above.
8. You may notice once you have changed this on your homepage you will see an icon like the one below. This is because we have not assigned a picture to that post yet. I will be making a tutorial for this in the next few days!
How to set up your Dynadot Name Servers

Once you have set up your account at www.dynadot.com. You will want to do the following to set your nameservers.
- Select the “Summary” tab if you are not already on it.
- Underneath “Domain Summary” choose whichever domain type your blog is (.com, .net, .org)
- Find your domain name in the list and check the box next to it.
- Choose the button above the domain name list that says “Set name servers”
- Type in the following servers:
- ns857.websitewelcome.com
- ns858.websitewelcome.com
- Click the button that says “Enter name servers” and you are finished!
This is all you need to do to change the name servers to our host. Sometimes after changing name servers the domain will need 24 hours to propagate and your website may have appeared that it went down. Do not worry, it will be back up once the process is finished!

How to set up the Amazon Page Recommender

1. Sign up for an Amazon affiliate account here (https://affiliate-program.amazon.com)
2. Once you have logged into your Amazon affiliate account, choose the tab at the top of the page marked “widgets”
3. Choose the “Page Recommender Widget” by clicking on “Add to your web page “
4. Choose size 120 x 600. All of the other options you can change to whatever you like. When finished select “add to my webpage “
5. Copy the affiliate code that pops up in the box.
6. Now login to your wordpress admin panel and select “appearance” on the left side
7. Then select “widgets“
8. On this page look in the top right corner. Select the arrow next to “Sidebar Bottom Right”.
9. Select the top box labeled “Text” by clicking the arrow next to it. Then copy and paste your affiliate code over mine. Click “Save” when done.
How to change the Amazon Carousel Affiliate Codes

1. If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for your Amazon Affiliate account at this link. https://affiliate-program.amazon.com
2. Once you have signed into your Amazon Affiliate Account. Select the tab at the top that says “Widgets”
3. Then select the “Carousel Widget” by clicking “Add to my webpage”
4. Type in a keyword related to your blog and click “go”
5. Select between 6 – 10 products related to your niche and add them to your carousel by clicking “Add product”. Once you have enough products choose “Next Step” at the bottome of the page.
6. Here you can change additional settings or add a title to the carousel. You can change the widget size also but I would recommend keeping it at 600×200. It looks best with the Revolution Church Wordpress Theme . Click “Add to my webpage” when you are finished.
7. Copy the affiliate code, then open another tab in your browser and open your wordpress admin panel.
8. From your WP-admin dashboard select “Appearance”
9. A drop down will appear underneath “Appearance” and you will select “Editor”
10. Then on your far right you will click on “home.php”
11. Scroll down until you find the code highlight in the picture below. Then replace it with your amazon affiliate code! Click “update file” when finished to save! That’s it!

Changing your Kontera Affiliate link

Once you have visited Kontera’s website and have signed up for your free account and have received your affiliate html code, you will login to your Wordpress admin.
1. From your Wordpress admin screen select “Appearance”
2. A dropdown menu will appear underneath “Appearance” and you will then select “Editor”
3. This will bring you to the section of your blog where you can implement coding and edit html. On the far right you will notice several “Templates” you will want to select the template named “header.php”
4. Once you select this it will take you to the coding for your header. Scroll down to the very bottom and you will notice the code in the image highlighted in the screenshot below. Simply copy your affiliate html code from Kontera and paste it over the selected code shown in the image below. Save by selecting the “Update File” Button. That’s it you are finished!
How to Change the Adsense Affiliate Code

The Revolution Church Theme is incredibly simple to use when it comes to changing you Adsense code. I have created a step by step guide with screenshots so you can see how to do this.
1) From your wordpress dashboard select “Appearance”
2) Once you have selected “Appearance” you will notice there are new options underneath. Select “Revolution Church Options”
3) Once you have selected “Revolution Church Options” it is pretty self explanatory from there. You will notice everything is labeled for where the code is supposed to goes. You can change the ads in the header, sidebars and post pages from here, as well as the code for a video if you would like to ad a video from YouTube to your front page. Just copy and paste the adsense code you have created and replace it with the code that is already there!
