How to set up the Amazon Page Recommender

1. Sign up for an Amazon affiliate account here (https://affiliate-program.amazon.com)

2. Once you have logged into your Amazon affiliate account, choose the tab at the top of the page marked “widgets”

3. Choose the “Page Recommender Widget” by clicking on “Add to your web page “

4. Choose size 120 x 600. All of the other options you can change to whatever you like. When finished select “add to my webpage “

5. Copy the affiliate code that pops up in the box.

6. Now login to your wordpress admin panel and select “appearance” on the left side

7. Then select “widgets“

8. On this page look in the top right corner. Select the arrow next to “Sidebar Bottom Right”.

9. Select the top box labeled “Text” by clicking the arrow next to it. Then copy and paste your affiliate code over mine. Click “Save” when done.

How to change the Amazon Carousel Affiliate Codes

1. If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for your Amazon Affiliate account at this link. https://affiliate-program.amazon.com
2. Once you have signed into your Amazon Affiliate Account. Select the tab at the top that says “Widgets”

3. Then select the “Carousel Widget” by clicking “Add to my webpage”

4. Type in a keyword related to your blog and click “go”

5. Select between 6 – 10 products related to your niche and add them to your carousel by clicking “Add product”. Once you have enough products choose “Next Step” at the bottome of the page.

6. Here you can change additional settings or add a title to the carousel. You can change the widget size also but I would recommend keeping it at 600×200. It looks best with the Revolution Church Wordpress Theme . Click “Add to my webpage” when you are finished.

7. Copy the affiliate code, then open another tab in your browser and open your wordpress admin panel.

8. From your WP-admin dashboard select “Appearance”

9. A drop down will appear underneath “Appearance” and you will select “Editor”

10. Then on your far right you will click on “home.php”

11. Scroll down until you find the code highlight in the picture below. Then replace it with your amazon affiliate code! Click “update file” when finished to save! That’s it!
